Miranda on Sunday 01/11/2009.Day 11- Miranda is finally at her birth weight tonight. She weighs 1lb 6oz. Go Miranda!!! They placed Miranda on the oscillator tonight because her blood gases were not good and yesterday they increased the vent settings several times. Miranda was on the oscillator for a couple hours during the night her blood gases got worse so they put her back on the vent and since they put her back on the vent her blood gases have been improving. Miranda had a echocardiogram today, it showed her PDA has reopened and may need to have surgery to fix it. Miranda's intestine problem is improving slightly. Miranda received her eighth blood transfusion during the night.
Way to go Miranda keep fighting and gaining weight!!!!!

Go baby girl. Im so proud of you. You are doing great. And you have a personality that is a lil like your moms and a lil like your dads. Dont let them push you around, you let them know what you want. ( I know you will, you have Connel Blood in you.) I love you so much. Keep it up. Love always Aunt Erica and Shawn.
