Day5- They increased Miranda's feeding to every 4hours, she is tolerating her feeds. Miranda had a echo today and they said the vein had closed but they said the vein could open again. Let's hope it stays closed. Michael touched Miranda for the first time today! Yeah!! Audrey had to come home from the hospital today. Miranda will be getting a PICC line sometime today or tomorrow. They took Miranda off the oscillator and put her back on the vent. Her blood gases have been off a little since the switch. The nurse told Michael and Audrey that Miranda was 12 1/4 inches long when she was born. Miranda is still not up to her birth weight yet but she is getting closer. They turned the bili light off yesterday. Audrey said that Miranda's bruises are looking much better today.
