Day 15- Miranda's blood gases have been good and they are talking about putting her on vent today. The doctors say her lungs are looking good for her age. Miranda is still on the TPN and Lipids which is her food source right now until she can start eating again which won't be for a while. The nurse told Audrey that Miranda does not look as puffy today. The nurse also said that Miranda is opening her eyes more today and looking around. YEAH!!! Miranda went on the vent today around 11:00 a.m. Miranda is off her dopamine drip at this time.
Miranda had two smears of stools yesterday and the nurses can hear faint bowel sounds now. Audrey said that Miranda opened her eyes when she was by her and then when Michael would come over to see, Miranda would close her eyes. Miranda is now 26weeks gestational.
